What is Vector and Raster?

Vector graphic:
        Vector graphics are the graphics in which the image is represented in a mathematical fashion. If we zoom in also they are ideal. eg logos, icons.




  Raster graphic:
          Raster graphics are of a fixed dimension, these graphics are default for things from the real world.
eg: backgrounds and photos. 


Example:

Use of Vector graphic:
       Clear image or text.
Where we use vector graphics:

•    Printing on papers and cloths
•    Sign making
•    Embroidery
•    General graphic design
•    Animation
